“Very Nice Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

We stayed here for a family rented and a group of us (26) rental the whole place so I got to see many of the rooms. The place has a great view and is very well maintained. We saw some monkeys on the property which was fun. We find it relaxing and very inviting, warm and friendly. The owner, Lorenzo, is very personable and very helpful. He is a good blend of western and Spanish to give you the cultural experience yet understand what is important to westerners. It is close to several great restaurants, a great grocery store and a bank. I would recommend this if you want a good cultural experience. I would recommend this as a good choice when choosing a place to stay.

good thing I can say, our visit to Manuel Antonio was very pleasant with our stay at Villa Manuel Antonio was perferct place for all my family, a group of 12, the rooms all with AC and a beautiful view towards the bay of Manuel Antonio, a balcony around the first floor to appreciate the whole Manuel Antonio bay and each room with its balcony view of the bay and to end with the visit every evening to our balcony of the monkeys to make a trip to remember.
thanks to lorenzo the owner, was always there to help and inform about good places to visit and lunch.
security was very good.
I recommend it especially if it's a family outing or a large group of people

Room Tip: big rooms and beautiful view

“"Awesome Villa in Manuel Antonio"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

Lorenzo, your place is awesome! Your friendly service and willingness to help was above and beyond. We loved the top three floors for all 11 of our crazy folks in the house. We enjoyed the views and the entire house and the pool. This is a great location for those of you who don't mind walking about 15-20 mins to the beach (you'll need 4x4 for the closest beach), but only 2 minutes to restaurants and bars. And really close to Cafe Milagro which has some of the best coffee in the world.

The views are amazing of the beach. Especially from the top floor and the pool. Definitely enjoyed the monkeys coming through each day. Relaxing in the hammocks on the balcony was just picture perfect. The house has AC, but we never really needed it cause the fans worked great.

There was laundry service with the house and a super friendly staff. Lorenzo was able to put us in touch with a Chef to cook us a meal for one of the nights while at the house. Lorenzo is truly an amazing host and definitely made the vacation memorable by being so welcoming. He'll even arrange tours for you if you desire.

Enjoy this place if you decide to book it! We had 11 truly happy (9 of which are hard to please New Yorkers) vacationers that didn't want to leave.

Room Tip: We rented the top three floors of the Villa. We had a large group, so if you have 7+ people this is...

“Nice stay in MA”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 December 2011

They really need to get rid of the blue velvet couches because they look horrendous. But the best part of this place was the view from the pool and the balcony. Swinging away on the hammocks was very enjoyable. The groundskeeper, I forget his name, was amazing as well. He helped us do laundry and organize tours and we even found out he loves Indian music.

Nice place, but I wish we didn't have obnoxious people on the floor above us.

“Great stay”

We stayed at the 2 bedroom apartment for 4 nights. We e-mailed ahead of time asking for the top floor, so we could get a better view and received a 3rd floor apartment, which was wonderful. The villa is build the way that 1-3 floors are 2 bedroom apartments and 4-6 floors is a house itself. View was outstanding, bunch of monkeys played on our balcony for couple of times. Pool is small but excellently designed. Somebody before mentioned that couches were uncomfortable and we would agree with that, but there are tons of extra pillows in the bedrooms. Use them. Overall it was absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay. Thank you, Lorenzo.
