Superb Customer Service and quality rooms and condition of rooms. The front desk staff delivered what I consider to be phenomenal service; they were quite helpful in assisting me to navigate to various businesses in the area that I needed to get to in order to prepare for my meeting. I would recommend this hotel and its current staff to any of my colleagues, hands down!

This hotel is quite pleasant from the minute one enters. It's decorated well. It's immaculate. The rooms are very comfortable with great beds, good darkening shades, and well-insulated to keep out noise. I like the location being in the heart of downtown Montgomery where charm abounds.

My special thanks to Betty at the front desk and KJ at the bar. Betty provided impeccable "service with a smile" as she helped me with my reservation, checking in, holding my luggage, getting taxis, etc. Her knowledge of the city made my 100th stay in Montgomery the best! KJ became my best friend in the world for a few hours as I waited for a late flight. Doubletree in Montgomery will always be my choice!

Public spaces like an Embassy Suites-- big dark atrium. Just kinda feels like a waste of space. Room is the same way-- oddly large (except for bathroom-- so small you can't even turn around in it) but not in a useful way. Unless you need to store boxes in it I guess

The maid service left our hotel room door open when we returned from visiting family. I didn't say anything about it to the manager because Nothing was missing, however I was not happy about that. Also, I think your front door staff needs a little more coaching in customer service. We checked in late and the girl that checked us in and out was very polite and always had a great attitude, however, our second night there it was a young man and woman at the front and they we're more concerned about finding a phone charger then re keying my room key. Other than that my stay was fine. The rooms are very spacious and in good condition..
