This home stay is a little bit difficult to find. The tuk tuks don’t really know it (when do they ever, I hear you ask) so get decent directions from the GH. It’s in the middle of a residential district and there is a nice pizza place on the corner too. It’s right on the Metro line so it is still easily accessible from the city centre, airport and main railway station.

We stayed here two nights. The place is quite higgledy-piggledy but nice. Rooms are OK, pretty clean with decent enough bathrooms. Some are better than others. Breakfast is included and is the standard Asian/western stuff – egg/toast/coffee/death by cholesterol. No dinner is available here and because it’s quite a way out, plan ahead.
Would recommend staying here as it’s outside the city and the options in the city are a little scary..

I spent a couple of days at Essgees Hotel as i was in Delhi. I definitely recommand it. The rooms are clean, well furnished, and with the airconditioning. The location is nearby 2 metro station on a central line. You can meet backpacker as well as corporate. The manager and his wife are really kind and can help you in many ways : if you want an advice on the cities you're planning to visit, on the best way to go to a place, on the souvenirs you can bring home, everything ! Its right to say that i was treated as a personal guest. I'll definitely go there again if i go back to Delhi.

We were a group of people who has spent about four weeks in Delhi. The guest house is very basic, however provides you everything you need for a good time in Delhi. It's clean and neat rooms have en-suite bathrooms.

Ess Gee's is in East Patel Nagar, a busy part of Delhi. Two metro stations - Rajendra Place and Jadipur - are just about a seven minute footwalk away.

Big Apple Supermarket, Domino's Pizza, a couple of Restaurants and Coffees are just around the corner.

The landlord will be very big of help to you, if you ask him. He knows everything about India and will be happy to organise things for you and gives advice.

Breakfast is quite modest with lots of toast and Indian tea, however that's the way breakfast is served in India. Nevertheless they're ears are all open for any suggestions you make.

Thanks to the guest house, after a weekend trip you were always happy to come back to this neat place.

This was our first hotel after arriving in India and looking back we were really glad compared to what crossed our way in the couple of weeks afterwards. the rooms are spacious with table, tv, AC, en-suite bathroom and we even had a balcony. The breakfast is disgusting but included in the price (which is ok for Delhi). The owner of the Hotel, Gaurav, was a big help for us in the first couple of days. He answered all the questions we had, gave us good advice on where to go and where not, when to be back in the hotel, who to listen to and who to ignore, what to do when touts crossed our way and so on. Most amazing thing was, that when we came back at 11pm from a short trip to Agra and asked him when we left in the first place if we could come back and he had to tell us, that his hotel was booked up, he offered us to come to his place after Agra and he'd send one of his 'boys' with us (for free!!) to bring us safely to another hotel, which he booked for us.
