A wonderful hotel not far from the Temple of the Tooth- although it was somewhat a challange to find late at night.. The rooms are large, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we had in India. The pool is huge and clean and the gardens surrounding it are beautiful. Be aware that Internet does not work if you have a tablet (ios or android).

We stayed here as part of a tour of Sri Lanka for one night. We didn't use the pool facilities. The food here was amazing! Plenty of choice and something for all tastes. The dessert selection was huge! The rooms were massive and the beds really comfy. It was a nice hotel for one night but not sure we would have liked to have stay any longer.

The hotel is an old colonial reseidence and has lots of charm. The staff is very friendly and efficient but lacks a little bit english language. The rooms are large and the beds are very comfortable, but the sitting area with colonial chairs is difficult to the back and we ended up sitting on coussins on the floor. The internet rate is very expensive, so watch up before asking for wifi. The dinner was simply amazing with a 5 course menu at an excellent price (around 25 US $ per person) accompanied by nice music
