We stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. The view from the hotel is fantastic and the rooms were clean and adequate. The staff are also very friendly and nice. We enjoyed our stay here very much and would recommend this place.

This is a lovely place to take in the views of the Lake and the Temple of Tooth Relic after a long day strolling around Kandy. It is a steep walk up from the lake, so a tuktuk might be in order.
The owners are friendly and very helpful.
Breakfast was included but dinner was not available here.
The rooms are basic but very clean and two of them have good views over the lake. We didn’t have a room with a view but sitting on the veranda in the evening was more than enough.

We stayed during the December peak period but we only paid 2000 Rs per night. The view from the public balcony / restaurant area is stunning. The owners are very friendly and helpful and are not out to sell you anything extra at all (we found that refreshingly unsual!). The room was simple but clean. If you are not looking to pay much but still want a clean and comfortable place to stay, this is a fantastic option. It's easy walking distance to the centre of town. BYO toilet paper.

We stayed here in July and were entirely satisfied.
Nice people, good reasonably priced food, pleasant dining room and excellent veranda with view over the lake. Had one of the two generous rooms with picture window views.
But there's the rub. The foreground is pretty grim, a school with asbestos cement roofing that looks more like chicken coops.
Better views are to be had elsewhere, eg at Blinkbonnie Tourist Inn just up the road, according to photos which can be viewed on this site, although we have no experience of that place.
