“The best in Sagada”

Its probably the place to stay in Sagada no doubt about that! Its extremely clean, great service, location is around a 2 km from the town centre (but we had a car so it wasn't a problem), its surroundings are quiet for good sleep quality and offers reasonable prices as well. The orange orchard makes one attraction for orange picking. Food at the Rock Inn is excellent, they have such a wide choice you can't go wrong. Its lovely here, do book a stay here if you plan to visit Sagada.

“Can't think of a better place in the mountains”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2010

We chose this place based on good things others have said about it, and we weren't disappointed. In fact, the experience was better than i thought it would be. from the service to the rooms, the details found on their website don't do justice to how well the service runs and how nice the inn and the rooms actually are.

we stayed in a mini executive room, and for P1,500 the place was very spacious and clean. the bathroom was also a pleasant surprise. i was expecting a tiny thing with an totally outdated heater. not so. the bathroom had a good amount of space, there was no lack of water, and the shower heated up quite nicely.

we're not much of nightlife people so the quiet in the farm was perfect. made for good rest. but the walls and floors are a bit thin and so when there are other guests that aren't really mindful of this, it can get noisy. footsteps and voices do carry.

the inn owners and staff couldn't have been more helpful - always ready to lend a hand in anything. that really makes all the difference from a good stay to an excellent one.

it isn't in the middle of town. it is about a 30 minute walk (but there are shuttle services, and a couple of trips free - ask about this). but in sagada, the walk is actually a good thing.

definitely highly recommended place. in fact, i can't imagine where else to stay in sagada.

Tlhe five of us went to have breakfast in Rock Inn and we are amazed on the natural beauty of the place.... the fireplace awesome, made of stones. It reminds me of the dap-ay where my grandfather and father used to go and have fellowship with other men.

“Entering a different world”

Wow!!! this is what I can say to this hotel when I stayed with my family a week after holy week last April 2008. The hotel's area is large and full of trees and vegetation. They even have their own farm of oranges at the backyard of the hotel. We stayed at the ground floor that is good for a family of 12 that cost Php1500 per room per night, not bad for a family travel. Actually we occupied the two rooms at the ground floor. Furthermore,it also has a lounge area before you enter the two rooms. One thing that they do not have in the room is a television, you just have to watch the shows at the lobby. But overall the rooms are really nice. It exceeded my expectations.

After we checkedin in our rooms and unpacked our things. I had an ocular inspection of the hotel and toured its vicinity. The hotel's design is inspired from and American Camping scene with a Filipino touch. What makes it standout from other hotels in Sagada is the lush garden that the property has. I am so awed by the abundance of fauna and flora that the hotel has. You will see different orchids, trees and plants in the area. The effort of the owners to conserve it makes it more appealing to guests who just want to relax. I also like the hotel is their entrance. It has a trellis full of crawling plants and flowers that are quite odd yet beautiful. Ofcourse you would want to be welcomed by a hotel's entrance that has a dome like trellis. It is as if you are entering in a realm of fairies and dwarfs. For the hotel's amenities and facilites I would say that somehow they have managed to provide what a full service hotel has. They have a restaurant that offers breakfast lunch and supper, bonfire places for campers, and transportation for tours. The staff are really nice especially the owners of the hotel. They have provided us sufficient information about Sagada and they were fast and quick to give the services that we need. One thing that made my stay scary here are the large dogs of the owners. I was walking in the middle of the night to get some coffee at the restaurant. While I was traversing the steep and slippery stairs of the hotel, a large ferocious white dog approached me and looked angry. I stood still and waited for the owners to calm the dog. Talking about a sight of relief.

I would higly recommend this hotel who are looking for a good yet affordable stay. How i wish we could have extended our stay but my parents have work after that week. I will surely go back to this place if I have enough time again and reexplore Sagada.

Great place to stay that is a hop-skip-and-jump from the town itself. Cozy fireplace to recap the adventure of Sagada with friends and family. The staff is very accomodating.
