I am a pilot,I live in hotels around the world,so believe me when I say this hotel is one of the best hotels I've been into,the rooms are clean,food is diverse and excellent and most importantly the customers service is truly FIVE stars.

I was completely happy about the quality of services, cleanness and size of the room. My stay was unexpectedly extended from 1week to 2weeks then I really needed some "refreshment" to myself. They have a sports gym and sauna, however no SPA or massage facility there, I desperately needed and missed it...instead I went to sauna almost every day and I could monopoly almost all days! Breakfast is nice, but dinner was almost forced to choose for buffet due to less variety of a la carte menu.

It's impossible to find or say anything negative about this hotel. I arrived 3 days ago and will be here another couple of days - wish I could stay longer. You're greeted at check-in by professional and courteous staff who can't do enough to make check-in as pain free as possible. Rooms are modern and clean, beds have the most comfortable and pristine bedding, the restaurant serves great food and the ambiance of the entire hotel is wonderful. The gym comes complete with a dedicated personal trainer and the security and safety of guests is second to none. The free and fast wi-fi was excellent. Well done to the staff and management of Southern Sun Ikoyi. Keep up the good work.

The stay of our six member family was a wonderful experience.
I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel compares favorably both in terms of infrastructure and services with most of the five star hotels that we have visited in the US including the Hilton hotels.
The African type hospitality and friendliness of the hotel staff is far superior to the ones obtainable in the western countries.
The food including the breakfast is far richer in quality and variety than obtainable in most western countries, as well.
The security setup of the hotel is reassuring.
The stay of the hotel is almost thrice as expensive as for comparable hotels in the western countries BUT the same goes for similar hotels and other services in Lagos, Nigeria. Also, an Indoor Pool is desirable and the outside pool could be larger.
The internet service was wireless, free, easily accessible and consistent throughout our six day stay.
I will definitely recommend the hotel to my friends and family who may be visiting Lagos, Nigeria.
