Giovanni and his wife who run this hotel are the perfect combination to help anyone enjoy their stay to the fullest. Giovanni is Italian and understands the European mentality and requirements whilst his wife is Moroccan and provides delicious meals, wonderful advice for travellers regarding purchasing souvenirs and getting more deeply into the culture of Merzouga and the surrounding area.

The hotel that both Giovanni and his wife have constructed is beautifully clean and traditional in style. It stands in a dramatic landscape.

I thoroughly recommend this hotel for people who are looking to really enter into the spirit of Morocco and the desert.
