“Disappointed”

Did miss I something? chose this hotel for the wife & 2yr old son as a result of previous reviewers comments. when we pulled up at the hotel it looked like a bomb had hit it with construction work going on & rubbish everywhere; it honestly looked like a dump. Whilst it undoubtly has a fantastic location with views out to the desert, the hotel itself has no character compared to several other Riad/guesthouses we had stayed in. the staff were friendly & helpful but the hotel itself reminded me of a fake butlins attempt at a sahara guesthouse. there was walls collapsed into the courtyard gardens as well as rubbish cigarette butts in them. the pool looks gorgeous, but on closer inspection is filthy, with a lot of tiles missing, a step had giant piece of it missing, & ice cold.
the only redeeming quality was their overnight trek into the desert away from the hotel. Mohammed who led our camels was a star, really friendly nice guy who made us very welcome & looked after us. the desert camp was very pleasant, comfortable a fantastic experience. our toddler loved it.
I would not recommend the hotel

The hotel was real nice super clean real original structure just like the old time, you really feel like back on time , is just very unique , the stuff were so friendly and nice mostly Ali the owner super helpful and attentive to his customer, he was awesome man. Ali organize the Camel ride and the night in the dunes, we didn’t have to worry about anything, the food were great, to be honest everything was just beautiful
Thank you Ali for everything

“An oasis in the desert!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2010

My stay in Ksar Bicha was absolutely unforgetable! The hotel is charming, cozy and very clean. The staff is friendly and very welcoming (and they speak several languages!). The trip to the desert was absolutely amazing! Great food, music, comfortable tents and the best guides ever! If you're coming to the desert make sure you stay at the Ksar Bicha.

“Trip highlight! We will definately return!”

We had been informed about Ksar Bicha from a friend who told us: "you definately do not want to miss that!". He was soooo right! We arrived late noon and made the excursion suggested by Ali, the owner of the Hotel who welcomed us warmly, made us feel confortable at once and helped my friend who was a bit relactant to follow us in the excursion. A 2-hours ride in the desert with camels, dinner and singing at the camp in a really cosy and friendly environment. We spent all night gazing the stars and the huge dune right next to our camp, no sleep at all as we did not want to miss a minute of his mystic experience. A unique Berber hospitality in the most amazing scenery! We are thankful for everything. The people, the perfectly chosen location, the scenery. Magical, unique! An experience we will treasure forever!

“When I left Ksar Bicha...I was already planning my return!”

After traveling around Africa for a couple of months...this was probably one of the places I enjoyed the most. This was most definitely the best part of Morocco! A great place to relax and an even better place to have a good time! I wish I spent more time there. The service by the staff was wonderful, and Ali was extremely helpful to us before we arrived and while we were staying there. The rooms were cute and Ksar Bicha is located really close to the dunes which made it really nice. The swimming pool was beautiful as well! The food we had was great!

We also decided to do a 4x4 trip and a camel trip to the dunes. The service was wonderful and we were able to learn a lot about the culture.

If you are planning a trip to Morocco, this is a place you must stay!
