“The best accomodation from aal we sayed in.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

Ali, the host and his team are your friends, not only because you are a tourist and you gonna bring them money, is because it is their style of living.
As a travel guide he gave me all the best tips, the food was the best we got us 3 during the 10 days in Morocco.
The driving in the dunes of erg chebbi, watching the stars and satellites and constellations, sleeping in a ksar such as sleeping in a tent.
Really i don't know what to say this was the highlight of this trip and above all a spiritual feeling.
Thanks Ali and all you people, i will be back for sure, Inch'Alla

“A great stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011

Ksar Bicha was our last minute choice. We travelled to Merzouga and one of the first hotels that we found was Ksar Bicha - and thank God for that. The staff is lovely - especially the one that take you out to the desert. The desert stay was magical to stay the least - and the staff did a great job in making sure everything goes all right. The food served at nightime in our camp was delicious (best that we had on our trip) - and the entertainment was the cherry on top. We arrived back to the hotel to cool rooms and warm water - aah bliss. A big thumbs up from us!

“Very Good Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

Great hotel. Very nice staff. You can learn with them a lot interesting things about Morocco, Berber culture and desert. They're doing amazing camel desert trip and bivouac. We watched sunset from the tallest dune, then we watched the stars have some dinner, music and dancing. They even wake us up for seeing sunrise. They will make sure you not going to missed anything. You can also try sandboarding :) Really, very good hotel.

“Disappointed”

Did miss I something? chose this hotel for the wife & 2yr old son as a result of previous reviewers comments. when we pulled up at the hotel it looked like a bomb had hit it with construction work going on & rubbish everywhere; it honestly looked like a dump. Whilst it undoubtly has a fantastic location with views out to the desert, the hotel itself has no character compared to several other Riad/guesthouses we had stayed in. the staff were friendly & helpful but the hotel itself reminded me of a fake butlins attempt at a sahara guesthouse. there was walls collapsed into the courtyard gardens as well as rubbish cigarette butts in them. the pool looks gorgeous, but on closer inspection is filthy, with a lot of tiles missing, a step had giant piece of it missing, & ice cold.
the only redeeming quality was their overnight trek into the desert away from the hotel. Mohammed who led our camels was a star, really friendly nice guy who made us very welcome & looked after us. the desert camp was very pleasant, comfortable a fantastic experience. our toddler loved it.
I would not recommend the hotel
