When I went to Perhentian in March I was very unlucky with the weather. Lots of rain and the visibility was poor. Universal diver was everything the weather was not. The training they provided was excellent and with Nick Longfellow I had a great instructor to learn the ins and outs of open water diving. Since then I have done my advanced open water at a different location which only made me appreciate Universal divers even more. Besides providing good training Universal divers turned out to be excellent hosts and they provided a nice place to be between the dives.

My wife and I did a discover scuba diving course with Universal Diver (we weren't at the Perhentians long enough for a full Padi certification). We did two dives with instructor Julia and were very happy.

All the instructors we spoke were very laid-back and welcoming and there was a great vibe going on at Universal Diver. Definitely highly recommended!

Universal Diver, and specially our instructor, Nick, was the best our trip to Malaysia. Thanks of them we could learn to dive and we saw maravellous sharks and turtles. Wow, It was really incredible!!!
We was doubting about diving course because of we was a little afraid, but Nick was a fantastic instructor, very technic but very funny and pacient at the same time.
Also the price is very competitive. It is worthy. Very good quality and price.

We took our PADI openwater certification with Julia, great great experience!
We were in Perhentian Island for our honey moon and the underwater world was the perfect way to be together in Malaysia.
All the people at the diving were very nice and friendly, always helpful and smiling.
The training was very well done and it gave us great self confidence in diving.
We just loved it.
