The hotel is in a good location and the staff are really nice and helpful but that is all the place has going for it. It is not cheap and the rooms are really run down. It looked like it was way beyond its prime and not that cheap. There were a lot of other hotels in the area and there has to be something better.

We paid 115 MYR for a double room.We had A/C,TV,fridge and bathroom with shower and bath.
The room was spotless,large comfy bed.
The location was good.
Breakfast wasnt the best, a limited choice of toast,omlette or noodles.
We ate in the brasserie in the evening and the food was quite good.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
There is a nice beer garden bar opposite the hotel.
If you are travelling by land to Brunei it is easier to book a taxi through the tourist information centre where they will book a driver to take you across the border and to your hotel - do not book with bus asia or other buses as they only take you up to the border,so you have to wait for a local bus to take you the rest of the way.

Smoking is alloud in the lobby and in the coffee shop which is annoying. Nice service. Room is not cleaned very well. Good location. Complimentary coffee in the room. WIFI only in the lobby.
