Having 2 teenage daughters we took two rooms which makes up one complete block. We stayed in early August for 4 nights.
Our rooms had a great view over the swimming pool, river and the distant hills. The resort is in a great location. It is at the bottom of the 'walking' street -so seconds away from restaurants and bars, but also next to the river in some nice grounds - so it feels very relaxed. We never had a problem with any noise. The pool is small, but we seemed to be the only people ever using it, so it was good enough for us - again ithe pool looks onto the river and is set in some nice grounds.
The staff were all pleasant and really helpful, for example when we asked for some drinks and snacks they asked where would we like them: at the bar, in the restaurant area, next to the pool or on our balcony.
For our first two nights in Pai we stayed at the Yoma Hotel (and had to visit the Quatrer Hotel to eat and have a massage as part of our deal at the Yoma Hotel!!) and i can easily say that the RiverCorner does not pretend to be upmarket like them, but gives a professional but relaxed service in a tranquil setting. We all prefered the RiverCorner
I booked the rooms directly with the resort via the internet and agree with others that it is at the top end of the prices in Pai, but the staff and location made it worth every penny.
