When we first arrived we were a little dissapointed with the huts, they are very basic, a little like garden sheds, but they do have mosquito nets, a fridge and are clean and really what else can you expect for £10 a night! The owners joyce and ed were really welcoming and had a great restaurant (although not serving thai) the home made bread made the best bacon sandwich- they are dutch after all! After exploring the island we realised the huts are actually in a great location- Long beach is by far the best on the island (less resorty and touristy) and because they are at the far end of the beach they are away from the restaurants/bars so no noise.
A pleasant stay, but we upgraded to the sunflower resort next door to a £15 a night bamboo hut with a hammock outside.
