“If you are planing to stay in Munar, why not support a good cause at the same time!!!”
We went there with our extended family and had 5 rooms for two nights.
The hotel is located in a beautiful valley and had a spectacular view of Tea Plantations.
It was a 5 minutes drive from down town Munar which, was actually better than staying in the down town as the view was much much nicer.
The rooms were specious, with balcony and TV.
The price was very reasonable too.
The staff was friendly and tried to help with any request that we had.
After reading on Trip Advisor I understood that there might be a problem with hot water in the shower, therefore I specifically inquired about it and found out that some of the rooms had hot water during all the day, and some only in certain times.
The reason I chose this place was because of their mission which is to help the villagers. They have a nursery school, a development center, a clinic, an ambulance, a church, and probably more things that I am not aware of. I felt that if I was planing to stay in Munar anyway, why not support a good cause at the same time!!!
Some of the not so great things in the hotel were:
1. They did not have a proper restaurant, they only had snacks and simple drinks. If you wanted a proper meal, you needed to inform them half a day in advance and they would prepare it for you. We had to live early in the morning and asked if they can prepare an early breakfast for us . They agreed and provided on time. They also had a room service which we used for the drinks and snacks.
2. The staff didn't speak good English except for the booking manager, which made it little inconvenient for me, however, he was there most of the time so it wasn't a problem.
I warmly recommend this hotel and hope they will be able to continue with their good cause. I hope you will also consider staying at the hotel to support their good cause.
