We reserved an apartment for three persons for about 6.000 Denars (100 Euros). So we expected something really nice, because all the other hotels in Macedonia costed only half the price.
Instead we got three really awful little rooms with no window to look outside and a tiny bathroom, where you had to kneel down to be able to see yourself in the mirror.
The fridge in the room did make a lot of sounds in the night, so that we had to unplug it.
There was no light on the bed table, so that you had to switch off the lights next to the door. And of course, it was difficult to read a book, because the light at the bed was insufficient.
The breakfast wasn't good either.
All in all, I would never choose this hotel again and I can't recommend it at all!

Hotel Ambasador would easily be the higest quality hotel/apartments in Bitola from my experiences.

It is a fairly new hotel which is run by Macedonians that lived in Australia for many years and you can tell that it is aimed for the big spending tourists and upper class visitors.

We had one of the biggest rooms and it was very spacious and clean. The service from most employees was pretty good and the hotel is located very close to the main plaza of Bitola city.

The apartment had a working fridge, kitchen sink, tv and air con. I see now they have plasma tvs and dvd players, wish I had that!!

The only downside for some may be the price, but if your looking for something comfortable, roomy, modern, clean and on the deluxe side you cant go wrong with this one. The only other issue we had was with the bathroom shower/tub but I dont think it was still fully completed.
