We spent a week half-board at this hotel and were satisfied with our accommodation, facilities, buffet meals, cleanliness and friendliness of staff. The hotel is in a pleasant woodland setting a short distance from the sea and a 20-minute stroll from Porec. The hotel is one of three Valamar hotels within yards of one another, the others being Diamant and Rubin. Guests at Crystal Hotel have the use of fitness centre at nearby Diamant Hotel.

My husband and i were a little reluctant to go after having booked, then reading the reviews on tripadvisor , but we went with an open mind and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
staff very friendly, food very good and a good selection although my husband wasn't happy because no English sausage but there was plenty of other sausages
the desserts more than made up for him having no sausages

We stayed at the Crystal with a group of friends all with small children. Before our arrival, we were a bit weary about the hotel because we did not know what to expect for the price, which was much lower than other hotels in Croatia. And we were very happy with our stay. The price is reasonable, giving the fact that breakfast and dinner are included, and are excellent for a buffet type. There is a big choice in both buffets, the service is excellent, although it can be very crowded and it might take some time to get a table. Only complain regarding the food was that breakfast was only until 10, and dinner from 7 to 9.

The rooms were good, spacious enough for families with children, all with terrace. We had problems with the air conditioning of our room, which was not working in full power and the problem was not resolved during our stay, so this was not very comfortable. It was very hot at the time or our stay.

The swimming pool which has salt water (also a concern that we had before our arrival) was very nice, good temperature, and not at all an issue with children. Just take good goggles and the problem is solved.

Poreç is beautiful, you can walk from the hotel along the beach in about 20 minutes (nice walk also) and there are plenty of good restaurants in the city. Food in Croatia is excellent.

The recreation for children at the hotel must improve, there are not enough activities and you can see the people from the recreation team wondering around. The rest of the staff of the hotel is incredible, nice and helpful, very polite. Excellent service.

We had a great trip. There are some things to improve, but the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Crystal is part of Valamar group,but unfortunetly it's not the best hotel in this group.

We decided to book there for two nights after having stayed at Walamar Rabac Bellevue the 2 previous nights

The room was spacious and clean with private balcony.
Corridors are poorly lit and smelly.

Internet acces is at surcharge.

The evening meal was ok - good choice - but repetetive . The wine was very expensive. The dining room close at 8:00pm but but you must come early - at 7:30 we were rushed - the staff was clearing tables aound as there was a fire in the dining room !

The pool was nice but the tub and fountain were closed by the time we arrived.
The beach around is not nice and there is no beach around.

Finally, clients are mostly SENIORS traveling in organized groups !!
