I accompanied my husband on a business trip here. The service was polite and friendly throughout, with smiling Croatians - unusual in itself! We had an excellent room on the 5th floor with super views overlooking the river and the marina. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet and a good varied buffet lunch was provided for participants in the seminar (although there was no vegetarian hot option). An excellent, professionally run hotel.

My family (3) stayed there a year ago and were amazed how kind the staff was and how nice the hotel was. We were treated in the best possible manner, and we enjoyed the food and pastries in the hotel's lobby. The crowd around the hotel is ever-present and great fun to observe. All in all, saying that hotel Osijek is as good as the Trump in Chicago, and better than Savoy in Florence is something than any hotel should be proud off..

In this hotel I was in April 2011,, great modern hotel, very friendly staff, very nice and very clean rooms, large  and very clean bathroom.Very nice, clean, beautiful and intimate SPA.Great location in the city center overlooking the river Drava, free wifi and work in the room!, free parking for hotel guest..In the hotel and the room smells wonderful.Rich and very good breakfast, the price for double room 130 euro/night. Certainly one of the cleanest hotels! Strong recommend it!!

We've been there for 6 days in June 2010 ,hotel definitely has the best location in the whole city,right next to the river Drava with tremendous view to the river below and 5 minutes walking distance from the main square. An impressive tall hotel building with modern design makes it easy notable from the distance so you can't miss the location. The train and the bus station are next to each other but 1 km away from the hotel place. Need a taxi if travel without a car. The room price seemed little high to us (with 10% discount price it was still 100 euros per room with king bed) yet the free wellness service was included in that price (wellness center is on top of the building,14th floor) as well as free breakfast which was btw excellent with very friendly,kind and above all professional restoran personnel which instantly complied with all our demands.5 stars to the restoran personnel.The room,we've got one I think it was on the 11 floor,average size with average design,yet everything was automatic in there,automatic door card instead of keys,automatic air condition,with window open air stops,window closed air is on, the work desk and internet cable connection,TV with satellite channels,telephone directly lined with desk,everything we needed.The internet was not free at the time we've been there (official price 10 euro per day but to be fair we must say on the check out we were charged for only one day out of 6 days of total internet use). Furthermore,on hotel recent official web page they say internet is free service now.There was a small fridge in the room with various cold drinks available,yet very expensive so we haven't used that option rather get some drink in the city and bring it to the hotel. The bathroom was small but very clean and nicely designed with modern looking facillities.Being small was not that important detail to us though. What was special with this room was a tremendous panoramic view to the river Drava below and to the green landscape on the other side,something we'll never forget.What we didn't like,hotel parking was not free,but there is a city parking option beside the hotel (daily card up to 4 euros at that time),also the room cleaning lady entered the room despite the door sign "Do not Disturb".
If we get back to Osijek we'll definitely stay in this hotel again.Highly recommended.
