Excellent value for your money. The room was very comfortable and big, excellent shower. But the most important thing is that the owner speaks really good English and is ready to assist you in any way he can: explain how the city works, help you get back to the hotel. In my case, the taxi to the airport that I had booked was late and he helped me arrange things. I really recommend this hotel!

This inn really is something special. It is located away from all the noise of the center of the town which I personally like although it is not far from all that. The rooms are small but beautiful and they provide you with the things a large hotel would provide you with. The owner of the inn can speak Chinese as well as English so this is an ideal place for English speaking travelers. He also let me know that he could speak German too. The owner treated us as if we were guests in his home rather than a guest in a hotel. We would hang out with him late at night down stairs in his office area drinking tea and beer and watching table tennis with him. He gave us a map of Lijiang Old Town and point out some good places to go as well as gave us his phone number in case we got lost. (Easy to do in Lijiang) Each night the guests staying at the inn can come down and have dinner with him and the other employees of the inn. This inn is a calm and relaxing place to hang out at. All in all I not only would stay here again, I want to stay here again.
