If you would like to pay 250 USD to walk for 2 hours through a reforested path then spend 30 minutes in a boat whilst 4 guides talk amongst each other in Portuguese then this is the trip for you :) Total animal count 0 although from the pictures on the side of their many trucks you would think you were in South Africa, they also like to show you pictures on their iPhone of animals they supposedly saw to make you feel better.
The boat ride is a similar story - it is described as getting as close to the falls as is possible, however it is simply "get wet in a fast boat (after waiting 30 minutes on the pier even after being collected from your hotel on time) and have a shower from a very small part of the falls not even within site of the main falls". If you have been to Niagara this is nothing like the boat ride there, it's is more like a disney ride...you get no view of the falls themselves at all. Additionally, in order to make you feel better about spending 250 USD they provide large trucks (again with pictures of exotic animals on the side) to drive you down a pointless 8km dirt track before getting to the boat. I say this is pointless because on the Argentinian side you simply walk up to the boat and get on...at 1/3 of the cost.
