My wife and I spent one week in this hotel as a part of our two week trip to brazil.
The hotel has a good location in the Ponta Verde area. The beach and some very good restaurant are very close... just 2-3 minutes walkin.
The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The hotel room was also very modern and most of the staff talked english! There is also a small, but nice swiming pool area.
The only cons are that there was no seaview and as already mentioned the pool area was small.
One more thing. If you are looking for a beautiful and relaxing beach scene you will have to go on the day trips, that are adverticed by several companies to several beautiful destinations. The beach in Maceió is overcrowded and polluted. Every now and then we saw huge pipes leading to the beach polluting the water... we didn't swim there

The Hotel is located in Maceio, Alagoas , Brazil.
I saw the site of San Marino in net before the choice and I was convicted that the hotel was in beach front and had beach support.
I was wrong the hotel is about 100 m of beach and without front view to the sea.
The staff is very kind and helpfull.
The restaurant is good enough and with a good quality / price relation.
Thr breakfast is good with a lot of tropical fruits.
The appartments , even the refurnished, are big but with a decor not very nice.
Another negative point is the lack of light in apartments.
