“Super service and foodie food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Visiting Austin for the first time, I was centered in suburbia with nieces and nephew. In a break-away move, my sister and I decided to head to Austin. La Traviata tables were booked, but we decided took our chances anyway. The food was solidly good and Molly, the evening's chef, was delightful. (One of the advantages of sitting at the bar near the kitchen!) Carpaccio, mussels, carbonara all worth having again. Thanks Ryan for making the spaces available!

“Excellent Italian!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

One of the best Italian restaurants in Austin. The menu is well thought out. All food is prepared when ordered. Give it a try.

“A pleasant surprise!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

What a pleasant surprise! Great bistro feal. Great menu with portion sizes that you can enjoy. We got in before it was booked up, but this place filled up quickly. Would recommend this place, and we will be back!

“Order the Carbonara and you'll be happy.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 December 2011

I'm the type of person that I like to find out what a restaurant does best and I tend to order it every time. I've been to this restaurant 3 times, the first time I had Spaghetti Carbonara with a fig salad and it was the best I've ever had. The second time I had a dish that was okay but nothing like the Carbonara.

This third time (and third lady), I had spaghetti carbonara because I wanted to see if the restaurant could redeem itself. And it did. My girlfriend had a dish that had a little too much garlic for either of our tastes, so unfortunately, I can't give this place 5 stars. It's 5 stars if you stick to the carbonara, but on average it's 4 stars.
