“You'll need to bring your own soap.”

There was a half empty bottle of soda left in the refrigerator, several dead crickets and 1 live cricket in the room. It appeared that the sheets had not been changed on one of the beds. There was a clump of hair in the tub. There was a tool used to swing open the security bar from the outside wedged into the door of the room next to us. There was no soap. I asked the front desk and she said none of the rooms had soap, that the hotel had run out a while ago but we could use shampoo. We should have left and gone to a different hotel but it was late and we were tired.

“Pictures a bit misleading - outdoor access only hotel”

Just needed a hotel for one night and the price was good. Didn't need anything fancy, and the pictures made it look decent. The pictures are only of the front lobby area which is a complete separate building from the actual outside access, 2 story, super 8 type motel. I have no real complaints (no bugs, no problems w/ water or bed or anything of that nature), but gave it a low rating because I felt it wasn't portrayed accurately. This is not a hotel I would recommend for a woman traveling on her own (and I'm not the kind that feels I can't take care of myself). This has much more of a hunting/fishing lodge feel than a hotel.
