Reishan Hotel is a very basic, low budget, no frills hotel, but if that's what you want, this represents excellent value for money! Staff are very pleasant and friendly; rooms do need updating but for the price (less than £400 for 3 adults half board for 2 weeks!) what can you expect?
The rooms were adequate - no teamaking facilities or any little extras, but again, this is reflected in the price. The shower room/toilet was functional but delapidated and not really pleasant. Oh, and the pillows were inexplicably lumpy!
We used the adult pool mostly (no shallow end) and we had it all to ourselves most of the time, although I'm sure that won't be the case in August.
The location of this hotel is perfect - a short walk to the marina and to the busy, colourful town centre of Turgutreis, but far away enough that there is no noise at night.
Breakfast was limited in choice and the same every morning for 2 weeks. There were other breakfasts available but at an extra cost to half board guests (and not particularly cheap as Turkish prices go!). Dinner was also limited in choice but always very good and there was always a vegetarian option.
We hired a car for the 2 weeks we were there but with hindsight I would say this was not necessary. Public transport is regular and cheap and excursions from travel agents were also good value for money.
I would say that this is a perfect hotel if you are not looking for the finer things in life and want something that is very cheap and central in a lovely location.
