The apartments were only completed within the last few months and the build quality is very high - lovely finish, good quality furniture, fittings etc. A couple of teething problems (we were first into our ground floor apartment in block C) were quickly sorted out by the management company.

The pool area is lovely and was quiet when we were there, especially in the mornings, with immaculate changing areas and a gym in the process of being fitted out with equipment. The poolside bar is staffed by lovely people although prices are slightly higher than in the town. It is a shame they are building a new block which gets in the way of what must have been a view that was hard to beat, although what is left is still lovely!

Take time to check out exactly where your apartment is in the complex - the developers' "Ottoman Life" website is invaluable for this - as some views are stunning, others limited. The complex is on a VERY steep hill so the climb from the pool to the blocks at the back looked ominous - we were very glad to be in block C and directly overlooking the main entrance and pool.

You will also need a car as the walk into Turgetreis might only take 15-20 minutes if you really stride out, but the walk back up the hill was more than we were prepared to tackle. However there is so much to see in the area that a car is a good investment anyway.
