“Nice staff and clean rooms.”

We stayed in this hotel for 1 week in the middle of october. Now we got of to a bad start, due to my party of 5, having food poisoning, NOT FROM THE HOTEL, BUT FROM GLASGOW AIRPORT FRANKIE AND BENNYS!!! DO NOT GO!! WE ALL HAD THE BURGERS!!!After arriving at the hotel, 6 six hours later we were in the hospital on an IV drip, so a day wasted of our holiday. However the staff could not be more helpful and provided us with extra covers etc.. Becasue of my little nephew being sick and cleaners were there in two seconds to help clean the mess. The food was okay, but with having food poisoning, myself and sister survived on the crisps and juice. If you need anything from the shops go out the hotel village and turn to your left and you will see a little shop, go there, its alot cheaper. During the day, it was very boring and then came night time, all you could do is drink and watch a little show provided by the entertaiment team, they tried there best. On our 5 night we asked to have the disco put on for us and they said no, they didnt have enough people, so we gathered about 25 of us and headed to the beach bar, but becasue that shuts at 12, we made them open the little nightclub they have on site!! Great laughs!!! It is a good hotel, but to far from the towns etc... so you would need to taxi for everthing. And remember to head to the market on the saturday, you will get the bus outside the hotel, and bargain bargain and bargain.

“Third time lucky!!”

Just spent another week at my favourite hotel was there 10th October for 7 days. Decided to bite the bullet and go alone when my friend had to drop out.
I was a bit apprehensive about staying on my own - but I shouldn't have been the staff could not have been better.
The hotel was obviously quieter than my previous stay as they wind down for end of season but the attention to detail was still as impressive. As always there are so many people to thank for making my holiday so amazing forgive me for name dropping - Beytullah, Soner, Kadir - reception staff and bellboy thank you, for the welcome and for being so amazingly helpful. Sarahan for being very efficient - this young man remembered my drink from my previous visit I never had to ask thank you so much
Ismail Köseoğlu, Sinan, Nadir, Emrah, Halil Orcan, Bayran Solak, Halil Kurtboğan, thank you for looking after me so well.
If I had any complaints at all it would be the cats that just won't take no for an answer, personally I hate them I especially hate them jumping on my knee please get rid of them from the snack bar and lobby bar - there was one in particular that was thrown out four times from lobby bar that kept on coming back - horrible creatures.
Sunbeds were readily available at this time of year and despite one or two days of heavy downpours the rest of the time the weather was glorious 25-27 degrees.
I would recommend anyone to go to this hotel, the beach is wonderful, staff amazing, food plentiful even the fussiest of eaters would find something at this hotel to satisfy them, 24 hour bar in lobby.
Note for management - I think you need a large notice in snack bar or a bell to ring 10 minutes before end of service whilst it states on websites and in holiday brouchures that the snack bar stops serving drinks at midnight there are always people who want just one more drink I have seen numerous people get very upset they cannot get another drink at this bar after midnight - please remember the staff have to clear the bar and then get to their next shift - you can always get a drink in the lobby bar!!
Also I did hear some of the guests complain about one or two staffs personal hygiene and the need to use deoderant - it is not pleasant to be waited on by staff with perspiration issues can deoderant be supplied for the staff to freshen up between shifts???
For me personally my holiday as always was excellent. I cannot wait to go back next season.

Room Tip: I had a ground floor room with sea view - very quiet excellent

“Second time around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2011

This was our second time staying in the Armonia in late Sept. This time we stayed for 11 days and it was perfect. The weather was fantastic! And obviously as we returned to the Armonia we also found the hotel to be fantastic. We arrived at the hotel around 3am very tired from travelling and we got to our room 5 mins later. Are room was on the third floor, and the staff literally carted are two suitcases up all the flights of stairs- well deserved tip! The room was spotless as always. In the morning we didnt get down to the pool until around 11am and had no problem with getting a poolside lounger in fact there was loads. The pool was very fresh but really clean! There are 3 pools in total, the pool up by the restaurant is lively as this is were the pool games take place, as we are very boring we stayed by the other pool:) Food in the hotel is to a good standard and great variety, however if you prefer a full fry up then you can take a ride on the bus into Turgutreis for 3TL. We have stayed in Turgutreis for the last 4 years and would highly recommend FRIENDS restaurant-the food is amazing! Entertainment at night was available , but we preferred to get the bus into town as it was a bit more lively and also quite cheap local drinks. We also went on the boat trips, run by the local guy selling them at hotel. As we have been to turkey now loads of times we knew that the only thing included free on the boat was your lunch, however some other couples and families were under the impression that everything was free e.g water, beer, cola etc?? Come on for 20 quid-nice try!!:)

If you are looking for a relaxing break, were you wont meet many English, Irish , Scottish then this hotel is perfect lol:) We are both from N.Ireland and enjoyed the break.

The staff were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating, they work very hard and long hours , so appreciate manners rather than demands! The rooms were cleaned everyday, with fresh linen and towels etc. We aslo used the Spa and gym on daily basis, the gym is quite basic but does the job especially when ur on holiday:)

All in all a fab hotel, well worth the money....PS check out sunset at nite from fish restuarant...unreal:)) Well done Armonia xx

Room Tip: room 3222...quite nd out of the way!

“Good complex”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 October 2011

Spent one week here last week and have to say the complex was a little smaller than I expected, quite compact in fact but all facilities were very close. Rooms are spotless and cleaned to a high standard, no complaints there. As it was the end of September no problem in getting a sunbed, in fact quite pleasant and plenty quiet spots to chill out. Bar service was good but no cocktail list available and if you asked for one they just made one up for you, so you did not know what you were getting, it was pot luck what you got. Food was a but repetetive and lunch and dinner menus seemed to be the same, but they do make an amazing cheese pide. Waiter service also very good especially Jason (Yasin) who could not do enough and really pampered us, also Ferhat from the Fish restaurant, two very friendly guys. The turkish cuisine night was excellent and thoroughly recommend it, the setting is gorgeous with spectacular views of the sunset. On the negative side the entertainment at night was very poor and on Saturday night no entertainment at all in the brasserie cos bar. Not many Brits around mainly polish, russian, belgian, dutch, turkish etc. Overall late September a good time to holiday here, great weather and plenty of space to relax and enjoy.

Room Tip: Room 1403 with sea view and close to restaurants and pools.

“ok but you could do alot better!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Hi there!

People who seemed to think they had quality for there money need to check in at my latest finding just north of Bodrum!but last year I stayed at Armonia and i also thought it was ok, but sadly you do not get your monies worth here! all alcohol was local alcohol and icecream was like eating mush! cocktails ,well they didnt even know what a cocktail was! The juice in the morning or bar was crap it was the stuff they used to make turkish tea and the entertainment was the worst I came across, especially in the evening! There was not much there for children so your child would be deffinantely be nagging you daily for you to enetrtain them, luckily i don't have kids! The english was poorley spoken and i found that the hotel was cheaply put together,I defenetely paid over the odds for this place and found that when my latest destination proved this and that was 5* and that was cheaper a joke i must say, I must admit i booked it with first choice so maybe that says it all where as recently i booked a thompson platinum which was much more my cup of tea!

I will admit the food was good but the restaurants where terrible, excursions are good but you can do them anywhere in Turkey!

check out my other reviews for help!trust me!
