Just came back from our 10 day stay at Ozukara 2 apartments. Had a really great stay, Gumbet is great for whatever sort of holiday your after; beach, sun, bars, food, day trips etc.

Ozukara 2 itself was fine, our apartment very basic. Cleaners came in every 3 days and changed the sheets and towels (which were pretty scratchy!), there was no evidence of any other cleaning. We had to promt them 6 days in to empty our toilet bin - which they sorted very quickly. We also had to moan about our hairdryer which was broken, but again they sorted this out very quickly.

The pool area is great, good bar serving good breakfasts. The staff there behind the bar were lovely. There is a tiny shop selling water etc on site too which is handy. Although there are shops just a little walk down the road.

Ozukara 2 is right near Bar Street - Temple Bar and Bar X are good places for a drink and boogie. Our favourite place to eat was The Windmill, actually one of the first rrestourants you find when walkng to the beach. Doesnt look much from the outside but the food is good and the service is too. We loved eating along the beach, had a great steak in a restourant attached to the hotel Magnifique and cocktails in bar SoHo were amazing too. We were eating out for approx 100 turkish lira - about £35, between the two of us - starters, mains and a couple of drinks. Pretty good I rekon!

Greatly advise going on a boat trip. Ours was about £16, they picked us up from the hotel and dropped us off. The boat left Gumbet bout 10 and came back about 6, stopped at 5 places and all inclusive food and drink. You can book trips at any of the booths on the beach.

Overall had a really good stay in Gumbet. Would definitly consider going back again, but maybe not staying at Ozukara 2. Hope I have helped! xx

We were a party of six, three couples and the apartment was great. The apartments were clean and spacious with two bedrooms and a large sofa bed which was quite comfortable.

The bar staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the bar was also excellent and we ate there a number of times.

They also had their own turkish bath and massage facilities here which were great. they were however more expensive than the ones in the town but they did not hassle you to get a treatment.

The location was great, right beside bar street and the center of Gumbet however there was a very steep hill leading up to it. I would definitely recommend these apartments and I would return here again.

Was booked in originally for Ozukara 1, we stayed at 1, 8 years previously, however when we got there they told us we were in 2, a little concerned however once we got there we were more then surprised, the appartments were clean and had everything we needed, and the pool was fantastic for what we needed. The bar staff were first rate and really looked after us, the maid were in every other day to change the sheets and towels. We ate there one evening and the food was very good, as were their english breakfasts !! The restaurant in next to Ozukara 1 waqs first class, food was top class and the guy in charge was something else, really looked after us, and we got 15% every time we ate their !! This was my our first holiday in 5 years for various reasons, and have to say we were more then happy and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, we recomend this to everyone, only slight drawback was the last bit of the hill, but we survived !

We were a group of 4 girls travelling to have a mix of nights out in bars and nice meals an what not and gumbet had both! The Ozukara 2 was clean and had everything we needed there. The only fault to this hotel is its up a MASSIVE hill which is annoying. Its about 2 minute walk to the bars and 5 minutes to the beach. Bare in mind how much you paid for your holiday and it definately is 3star accomodation! Really good holiday!
