“Reliable and nice hotel in Ankara”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2011

The hotel is located 50m away from Sheraton Hotel, 200 m away from the Karum Shopping Mall. All the popular cafes and restaurants are 5 minutes away by easy walking.
The rooms are small but well arranged. Very clean. The staff is very attentative. They have native English speaking receptionist, too.

The rooms are modern and quite. There is an electric water boiler and variety of tea bags.

It takes 1 hour to get to Hotel from Airport during rush hours in the evening. It costs 30 € from airport to hotel when you take the inner city roads. If you want to reduce the risc of traffic during morning rush hours then you may take the highway but then be aware that it will cost 50€.

“Boutique hotel in Ankara style”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 December 2010

Likan Ambassadore is located right next to Sheraton hotel (rated currently the 2nd best in Ankara).

The Building: the building seems to be from 1930's but could as well be brand new. Build however in the 1930's style from the exterior. Rather well located if any hotel in Ankara can be well located as there seems to be no definate city centre. However the area aroudn Sheraton hotel is quite lively.

Room: modern with nearly all you'd need for a business trip. No ironing board in the room however. Rooms are on a small side. Bed comfortable enough.

I however would not say the Limak Ambassarore is a boutique hotel. It's a rather standard modern hotel in a fairly good location. For more information see my pictures and a videclip.

Would I choose this hotel again: possibly not. But I was not the one to decide to stay at Likak at the first place.

“Well located, clean, nice staff, all good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2009

Hotel located in front of the Sheraton, but at a friendlier price, and more personal attention. Clean and well furbished rooms, free wifi, and good big breakfast. Nearby, plenty of nice and trendy restaurants. I would highly recommend the hotel.

“Great except for food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2009

The room was great, the air-condition was off for one day, i ordered breakfast served in the room at 4am for two nights and they did it only on the first one, next night when they didn't show up i called room service but no answer, internet is good, but not very good..three days three nights the food was always the same, nice it was, but after the second time i didn't want to see those same dishes again...staff very friendly and helpful

Located near Karum mall, very beautiful, but no food court, only local restaurants & coffee shops near by. close to Sheraton & Hilton, road very steep, if you are not sportive, its really hard, going out you have to run, coming back you need a push :-)

A dinner for 2 cos me around 80TL while a dinner for 2 also in KFC cost me 20

“First class hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 June 2009

The Limak Ambassadore Hotel in Ankara is a first class boutique hotel, conveniently located in Kavaklidere across from the Sheraton entrance. The included breakfast is ample and served in a sunny dining room. The internet is free. Service is very attentive and accommodating. We had a spacious corner room with a king sized bed, a seating area, large screen digital television and writing desk. We walked down the hill and thru Kuglu Park to Ataturk Bulvari to take the bus to Kizilay and Ulus. Coming back from a visit to the exquisite Anatolian Culture Museum in Ulus we stopped at the cafe overlooking Kuglu Park for tea and pastry. Use the Sheraton's elevator to avoid the steep climb back up the hill. Walk to Ankara's newest, magnificent Kocetepe Mosque. Don't miss a visit to Ataturk's mausoleom.
