I had an early arrival (915am)due to my flight changes and I was accorded with a suite upgrade ready for my arrival, as a platinum member. The duty manager, Whiky, whom I spoke to the night before assured me that the hotel would do whatever it could to get me a room upon arrival, despite the high occupancy during my next day's arrival. I told Whiky that I fully aware of the check-in time and hence I was not demanding a room but instead, having my luggage stored so that we could explore the city.I was given the smoking suite as that was what's available upon my arrival. Jason from the concierge, was quite helpful in terms of getting our bearings around Hangzhou and I was impress with his own tour itinerary to help both the tourists and the business travelers to learn more about sights and sounds of the city.
We got our beautiful suite, but our luggage didn't arrive. One of the receptionist told us ' I didn't know you have luggage' and that sounded bizarre. Emma, the duty manager, got us a non smoking room later. She even took the trouble of helping us to move the luggage and the welcome amenities from the smoking to non smoking suites.
My overall experience with his hotel was nothing but a pleasant one. Everyone has put in their effort to perform their duty as a good team. I had the business center staff to assist me to check-in online for my next destination, Emma, who oversees that most my requests were met, while Jason, gave me the priority in getting the taxi to the airport, since it's quite hard to get a taxi in Hangzhou,
Keep up with such good work! 4 points by Sheraton Hangzhou rocks!
