This was an amazing place - definitely a highlight of our trip. We didn't even realize the bronze chariots were there, or that there are two other buildings of excavations - another one with soldiers, and the headquarters. Really fantastic! Also has a pretty good gift shop, and we were fortunate enough to be there when the man that discovered the site was there to sign books on the discovery. Experience of a lifetime!

you cant imagine it until you stand in front of the massive "army" and think about the effort and the misery that went into building it..dont miss it

“A telescope is perfect for viewing in this museum”

It is large inside, when you view it by your eyes, you have an impression, when you examined it through a teles scope, you would have a very deffrent impression.

Quite a bit of English is written here so you can easily spend 3 hours even without a guide. You will repeatedly asked if you want a guide as you arrive -- be prepared with your answer. Best to pay the few extra yuan and ride the little electric cart or you must walk a kilometer through a street of shops. This was the disappointing part -- the little village of shops etc. that now surrounds this place.

This is a must visit attraction. To see the Warriors and Horses and the entire facility built in X'ian was great. Definitely worth the trip to X'ian
