If you want a very ordinary hotel, this is it. Breakfast was a choice of Dim Sum in one restaurant or Western in the other, my colleagues wanted Western so no chance to sample the dim sum. Chef at live cooking station could speak no english so a request for a little chili in the omelette met with blank stare. Alcohol very expensive, no where of interst within walking distance.
Good point, great Chinese sauna attached to hotel.

If you want to have a nice room you have to book on the executive floor: other ones are really normal rooms.
You have to take a taxi to make everything.
It is clean and with an average service for China.

Aged hotel with large rooms but urgently in need of cleaning. It still has the style of Chinese hotels of the mid 1990's.
The staff were helpful but when the temperature dropped to very low it took a day to switch the AC to hot.
Walking outside rapidly brings you to nice locations, though probably not the CBD.
Bathroom faded and jaded, modern bathrooms should at least have wall hanging toilets rather than sporting yellowed sealant around the foot of the toilet.

OK rooms, good pricing. Lowest possible rating due to the criminal ckerks at the front desk, who exchanges Euro to fake Rimnimbi and denied everything when confronted with it. Unacceptable!
