It is possible to book rooms at this hotel on their internet website, paying by VISA. It was about $45US / night for a top floor, 2-bedroom suite for 4. Great views over the CBD of Pyatigorsk, down to Mount Elbrus, 100km? away & 5600metres high. Adoption friendly, there are small 6-table cafes on two of the upper floors, plus expensive disco & restaurants associated on the ground floor. Typical tiny elevators, bedcovers with a large hole in the middle (why do the Russians do that ?!). It is difficult to compare Russian things with the rest of the world: spoilt people might call this a very basic, unfriendly, concrete place, but, .... hey, you're in Russia, and there is only one other hotel nearby. It used to be called 'Rudnik Resort', and is a geothermal spa hotel, slightly better condition, a few miles south-east, & offers Colonic Irrigation as a specialty.
