I found this hotel using the trip advisor site. And I can now back the reviews and say it is a great place to stay. Although the hotel is rather small, the rooms themselves are of a good size and have everything you might need. Their was a sauna and stereo in my bathroom. And the decor in the French suite, complete with a cozy mock fireplace and candles was perfectly suited to the romantic weekend (or week in my case!). What's more the staff were always very helpful and tried their best to accomodate any wishes I might have.

Amazing little gem of a hotel! The whole experience was wonderful. It is a tiny little hotel that some idiot only rated as a 3 star. It is a great value for the money. We stayed in the Siesta room which was gorgeous. The room was comfortable, spacious, quiet (couldn't hear the construction going on across the alley) and spotless. Exceptional location right off Bowman Street (a walking street with numerous attractions in all price ranges). It's under 10 minutes to walk to Kazan's Kremlin and Opera House (even for this lazy American). I will definitely stay at Bon Ami again!
