This USSR Brezhnev-era facility was built by Swedes in a remote corner of the Vasilievsky Island. The hotel is big, with long corridors to walk, but if you are with a group traveling together by bus, it's a decent place to stay. Even the nearest metro statoin is pretty far away. Conventions often take place in the premises, making it logistically convenient. But don't expect any luxury, there's shower gel and soap, but that's it - no mini-bar, no hotel cosmetics. Some people may like the aqua-park connected to the hotel.
