Excellent location, very tidy hotel, comfortable and clean rooms.We had emailed the hotel to let them know we'd be arriving early in the morning on an overnight train, and they emailed us back to let us know that our room would be ready upon arrival. This was very nice as we did not have to wait until late in the afternoon to check in.
Here all nearby: the shops, the well-known museums and galleries, theatres and night clubs, business centres. The metro stations “Mayakovskaya”, ”Vladimirskaya”, ”Dostoyevskaya” are only a 3 minute walk, the railway station “Moskovskiy Vokzal” is a 10 minutes walk.

Its first time I am in St. Petersburg and I stayed with my family in Stary Nevsky Hotel. This pretty hotel was absolutely comfortable.
It is central hotel so it took us about 7 minutes walking to reach the main avenue-Nevsky Prospect.
We enjoyed our spacious and light double rooms. Children were excited about cable TV and my husband was satisfied with high speed Internet Access.
The breakfast was delicious with the great variety of dishes.
Next time I will be glad to stay at this cosy hotel again!!!
