Upon arrival at the airport, the Randhouse scheduled driver did not show for over an hour, so we used the taxi desk and got a taxi for 900p. Not the fault of Randhouse.
When you get to building 11, look on the steel doors for #83 and ring it. The small elevator was a tight sqeeze, so 1 at a time is suggested to the 4th floor.
Inside, every requirement was provided. Though we had a room requiring the shared bath, it was always clean and well furnished. The rooms (we had 2) were clean and comfortable. There was a portable fan furnished as July is warm. We preferred the rooms away from the street due to noise with open windows (again, only in summer).
Breakfast was good and Olga made tasty blinis. Nice TV and sitting room. Everything we needed after a day of sight seeing. Walking was not bad to Hermitage. Metro is 1 minute away. Several economical fast food and buffet places around the Metro stop. This was the best and most enjoyable hostel-like B&B in which I have stayed.Olga gave our family lots of personal attention.
