Great location and all round quality hotel - expensive but worth it !

My wife and I travelled to Moscow to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary, the manager had a card sent to our room and a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room and in the restaurant. Wonderful food, friendly staff and a very useful and friendly Concierge. The room was warm and comfortable with the most amazing view. The position of the hotel is perfect for anybody visiting Moscow for the first time.

Baltschug was right in front of the Red Square. Our staff room had the Kremlin as it's view. It was beeaauutiful. The hotel was also located near classy bars and restaurants. It also wasn't that far from the World Trade Centre which we needed access too for one of our events.

Staff were excellent and the service was amazing. Beautiful rooms.

The downside though was the atrium which became quite noisy when there were events (parties, weddings, seminars, etc). But it was beautifully set up nonetheless.

Overall, it was an excellent hotel which made you feel cozy at very cold times.

I first stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and was amazed with the view then. It's still amazing now, especially from a delux studio which is comfortable and sizable. I'm not sure if this was one of the newly refurbished rooms, but it was well up to date. The only problem was the heating -no matter what we did, it was still too hot. The staff was excellent, professional, attentive and very helpful (!) breakfast was great and the service very attentive. The pool area was a nice change of pace and so was the lovely massage. Looking forward to coming back!
