“Short Business Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

Stayed here in late January for a business visit to Moscow. The staff on arrival were friendly and the room, although very warm was well set up with free Wifi & flat screen TV. The bar in the lobby can get busy and it takes a while to get back used to people smoking indoors. Breakfast buffet is excellent and they have a chef there to do your eggs. Nice to see that the standards Best Western have around the world are in place in Moscow.

“You need to speak Russian to get around as on outskirts of city”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

First time I had stayed in this chain, hotel is on the outskirts of Moscow, the rooms were comfy and good size, there was wi fi in the hotel, plenty of places to eat within the complex.... It had everything required...restaurant ,cafe, coffee shop,  shops, bar (itself) and the restaurant on 2 nd floor, you didn't need to leave the complex..
Food was reasonable standard, however may need to order a side dish.

Pluses for this hotel: wifi,
minus: too many checkin desks, service desk, security desk,

Not many English Speakers, need to point to get food/beer, but definately need the metro to get to Moscow, do your homework on where and how to get about, as this is positioned on blue line.

“Good hotel close to metro.”

I stayed in Vega hotel for 3 nights.
Room was very clean. Service was great as for Russia)). Helpful staff.
The main advantage is it's location: the metro station in 2 minutes on foot.

“Clean, comfortable and complex”

The biggest hotel ever and just one of several linked hotel buildings in the area. (Previously Olympic Village). A place where you will run into lots of tour parties. Our tour party used buses, so it did not matter that the hotel seemed a way away from our touring routes. Clean, roomy, recently refurbished and pleasantly staffed. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants (chain food quality) and the huge Sat-Sun market where you'll find every Russian souvenir you could want at cheap prices, if you bargain.

“Now Best Western”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Recently included in the BW family it is located near metro station Partizanskaia. This building is a part of the multy-building huge tourist hotel of the Soviet time. Now it is renovated. The price is huigher than you want to pay for the hotel located not in the city center, but it is Moscow. If you are fan of the flea markets, nearby Sat-Sun the biggest one in Moscow is located

Room Tip: ask for the higher location
