The rooms are large, especially the beds. In a single room there is a bed that would be in a double in many hotels. In a double we had also a really big bed. The whole room was large, the bathroom clean and modern. There is good air condition in the rooms.
The hotel is situated out of the city center in a very nice and quiet area. (one side of the holtel there is a bigger road, but only 1x1 lines with limited bus traffic) A taxi ride to the center cost 8 Lei (2 EUR) - quite affordable. But it's also doable by walk if you are young and fit - it takes half an hour.
The breakfast varies a bit - if there is enough guest in the hotel it's quite good with many choices. But one morning there were only a few guests - there were limited choices of foods and we had to ask the staff for everything - coffe, juice, jam, milk... it was a bit inconvenient.
Assuming our stay, this hotel is well worth the price it costs :) I would highly recommend if outskirts is not a problem for you.

“Good hotel a bit far from downtown”

The hotel is one of the best in Timisoara. The rooms are quite big and modern with comfortable beds and free high speed internet. Location is not great as it is quite far from downtown, but a taxi ride to Unirii Square is only 5 minutes. The restaurant of the hotel is OK, however the breakfast choices are very limited.

We were at Delpack in September 2009 just for one night , on our way to Austria. We stayed in a suite with jacuzzi and the hole experience was great . It is true the place is not in the town center and it is more a business hotel then a leisure one , but, the staff is very professional, the restaurant .....small, but great food and ambiance .

“Hotel Delpack - Pleasantly surprised”
Spa and room were a pleasant surprise. The staff is very professional, accommodatingly and very charming. We got a bundle of extra services for no charge. The hotel itself is situated in a quiet area, not far from the old city centre and it's just about 1 Euro (!) to get there by taxi.
If you get there don't forget to try the romanian "sarmalute". Very delicious, yummy-yummy.
