I stayed at the hotel for the Valentine's Day weekend. It is quite close to the city center (10-15 mins) in a quiet area. Also close to the Cetatuia park and the CFR football stadium.

The room was very clean with all the amenities of a 4-star hotel, and a very nice bathroom. The staff there was incredibly helpful and attentive. They prepared the nicest room that they had, and we were allowed to serve breakfast even at 12:00 PM (long after the normal breakfast hours).

I only spent 1 night at the hotel, but I wish I would have spent more. The overall experience was very pleasant.

Also, I would like to mention that during the weekends, you have all-inclusive for no additional fee (€20/day during the week). If you have a car, you might have problems with the parking (there are 3 inside garages, and parking places on the street, but no proper car park).

We spent 9 wonderful days at Hotel Ary in Cluj-Napoca. The Hotel is a great place to spend your time in Cluj, no matter if you are on a private or a business trip. We had a large room with cable TV, a spacious bathroom with superb shower, air conditioning, internet access, telephone in the room and bathroom, minibar, safe, hairdryer and access to the fitness club. And absolutely marvellous staff who helped make this stay worthwhile. The breakfast was a large continental buffet, if you had extra wishes it was no problem at all. The dinner we had there was great. The interiour terrace is a nice and quiet place to be. They also have a small exteriour terrace right near the entrance, ovelooking the street. The following touristic sites are reachable as follows:
CFR Bowl - 1 min; Mihai Viteazu Square- 3 min; Train station - 3 min; Art Museum - 7 min; Avram Iancu Square - 10 min; Expositional center Expo Transilvania - 15 min; Airport - 20 min.
I am from Romania myself and I know how hard it is to set up such a business, to make up to the high expectations tourists as well as business travellers can have. But I can assure you that this hotel is meeting all the standards and often exceeds them. I am gladly recommending this hotel to everybody travelling to Cluj-Napoca and wish them a great stay there.
