I first stayed with them 10 years ago during my sister's wedding and here I am 10 years later and my my did time really showed on their rooms. Poor upkeep are showing in the rooms and I hope they do renovate soon otherwise their location would go to waste. It is not the rooms I remember staying in but then again that was 10 years ago. Overall, I hope they impove.

Spent wedding anniversary with my daughters at Discovery Suites in Ortigas this 3rd week of January 2012. I had tried other hotels in the area with the same all suite classification and Discovery did not fail me. Their lobby is more of a straight forward type, appropriate for businessmen yet cozy enough to be appreciated by those leisure travelers/ guests. Front desk clerks were accommodating as well as the people in the Guest Services Section. Rooms are spacious enough with complete guest amenities. Clean, with two queen size beds , bathroom got complete guest supplies though I noticed few worn out tiles on the shower area. My youngest daughter enjoyed her deep in the swimming pool. It also got a pool bar that serves complimentary coffee (w/c I appreciated very much since I am a coffee drinker), juice, snow cone & candies. Restaurant 5 staff are accommodating & offers multiple choices of food items especially in their buffet breakfast, such as I was very full that I had not taken any other meal until 5 PM. Lunch buffet choices are also ok but since my daughters were also full so they had not partaken most of the food items offered. Nice view from the Serendipity Lounge and ambiance was relaxing, a good venue for an intimate talk with your love one. Over all , the facilities of Discovery Suites impressed me. Hotel staff are friendly & accommodating from the front desk, guest services, restaurant staff, supervisor & manager , room attendants. The only thing that I had not appreciated was it took us more than 10 minutes for the elevator to reach each guest floor. In fact there was a time when I had used the stairs going down from the 20th floor to the ground floor... well I just considered it as an exercise. But it was just small thing for me & it will not affect my over all evaluation of the hotel. In addition its location is very accessible to the shopping malls.
I will be back ... for sure.

We just loved this hotel! I've tried their 1-BRs in the past, and this deluxe double room did not disappoint either! 2 queen beds in the room, bathrobes, slippers, a DVD player, a mini component system, a microwave -- plus a romantic dinner for two at the renowned steak place 22 Prime at the 22nd floor, with buffet breakfasts for 2!!!

Well actually, the free dinner was a plus given to me by Reservations -- probably because i'm such a repeat customer :) On Christmas day where almost all hotels in Ortigas were booked and sky-high in prices, this was a great find. They reward their clients well. Small wonder even the chief executive of Marina Bay Sands complimented the hotel through a plaque now prominently displayed at the front desk. And oh -- did I tell you about their great gym (with fitness instructor) and spa/sauna!

Very spacious room, very christmasy lobby (with choirs in the evening singing carols!) ... I am never going to consider any other hotel in Ortigas next Christmas eve!

Stayed here overnight Jan 2 to 3, made reservations for a 2 bedroom suite - and i was very much disappointed with the service of their front desk - got there 3 pm (which is their check in time) and the front desk girl said our room was still being cleaned & if we can wait at their lounge - so we waited.... and waited after 1 hour I called up the front desk and asked and she said its still being cleaned, after 2 hours my husband called and asked and still the same answer - how long does it take to clean the room? He got mad already since its a waste of our time and when they saw that he was mad already then they were able to show us our room. Will never stay here again - this is the first time I have to wait this long for a room. I was planning to stay at their hotel in Boracay (Discovery Suites Boracay) but after this incident I'd rather stay at other hotels.
