pros:
- location. just across is the greenbelt complex where you can find stores such as the adidas flagship store and restaurants like mesa (great filipino food!).
- tv is a modern flat screen tv
- service is good. i asked for an iron and they delivered it to my room right away.
- breakfast selection is good, especially their mangoes which were sweet and ripe. the philippines' mangoes are absolutely the best!

cons:
- as pointed out by other travelers, the rooms look old and are in dire need of a makeover!
- the first thing that hit me was the hospital-like smell when i entered the room. tolerable but odd.
- i asked for a king-sized bed and they couldnt give it to me. this is the first time in a long time that i was denied this request while my colleague who checked in right after me got a room with a king-sized bed - how did that happen???
- the bathroom tub was really low (not deep enough) and the toilet seat was low as well.
- no wi-fi option in the room. with increasing usage of smart phones, this is now a must-have in every business hotel

Excellent hotel, very convenient.. Great service and large rooms. The hotel is at walking distance from business district, entertainment and very safe and welcoming.

Stayed in club room on club floor for a night and found the hotel's location as extremely convenient .across the road is green belt shopping and restaurant areas .room was decent but club was poor , aircon was not working properly (dusit Thani has better focus on club ). The food was also average and service was also not that good , but due to its new rooms and location , I will still give it a good overall ranking but at its price better options are available in makati

For a fair few years this hotel has been the preference for our visits to Manila. It used to be the Ramada but it is the New World but little in it is new.

Let's start with what's good. Breakfast. It's pretty good by Manila standards and the setting is good. That is of course until it gets busy and then the staff really do get overwhelmed. You can find yourself in the lobby seats or better yet, how about the bar. Yes, the actual bar itself. That's how you want to start your day, propped up against a bar having brekkie.

Room service was good and pretty efficient overall. Can't same the same for housekeeping. Repeated calls and an age of a wait for anything.

Rooms? Haven't been updated since I first went there 5 years ago and they look even more plain than before. They have taken out almost all of the little extras too. It's like stepping back into the late 1970's.

On my last visit last month my own room had not been cleaned even though I arrived at 8pm. I didn't get the room I was supposed to and the reception discussion took about 20 minutes. It wasn't impressive and my colleagues suffered a much longer wait.

On a final note, it is well located, right across from Greenbelt 3. And that's the best the place has to offer. We won't be going back there. Not until it raises itself up a few notches.
