i stayed here for 2 nights. not very central but staff and room all ok. the pool and public areas also ok. there is no safe in the room which i didn't like. i have checked our company deals and for a little more there is better value at the libertador hotel in a very convenient location off the main square. my advise is to spend your money wisely and cheaper doesn't always mean better as most of us know...

Got an upgrade from travel agency. Great hotel, not so close to city center. Grocery store a ferw blocks away. Buffet breakfast very good

This hotel is a few blocks from the main square. This means you will have to walk a little to get to the downtown but you will have a lot less noise. It is located next to a supermarket and the rooms have a refrigerator which saves on the cost of room service.

The staff is very friendly and helpfull although most do not speak english. It is easy to catch a cab right outside to any destination.

There is wifi in the rooms and it is reasonably fast. The rooms are spacious and have air conditioning which works well. Each has a small in room safe, Breakfast is nice and is included. Direct Dial phones in each room, TV with cable as well.

The hotel has a pool with lounge chairs which are not very comfortable for very long. Small gift shop.

Resturant on site, guard at door and appears quite safe. A number of resturants within walking distance.

One word of caution! There is a small amount of renovation going on now on one side of the hotel. Make sure to ask for a room on the other side where the noise can't be heard.

Stayed for two nights whilst on quick visit to Chan, Chan, temple of sun and moon etc. Extremely pleased with this hotel, we were given lovely room with 3 double beds in, so one each and one for the clothes. Hotel quite emply really, mostly business people. Everything clean and stylish. Staff extrmemly friendly and helpful, food in the restaurant was excellent and beautifully presented Only thing is hotel is 7 blocks from centre, so will need to walk about twenty minutes, which we didn't fancy doing, luckily had excellent local guide, but taxis are everywhere, am sure hotel would sort you out.
