stayed here for a week in September.breakfast was great and the restaurant is excellent.Had the best filet in all South America there(sorry,Argentina!)The rooms are impeccably clean and the service is very friendly - and fluent in English!The location,right on the Main Square can't be beat.Will definitely recommend this hotel and come back.

Stayed there for 1 night only, but very nice location and we even could enjoy the spa (which included a steam room and sauna). However, don't expect the best of it ;-)
Good service, best breakfast and good bar for the evenings.

We stayed here after staying at the Libertador in Cusco and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is right on the square in a lovely old building with a swimming pool in the middle courtyard. The rooms were small but clean and comfortable. The service was good and we thought a great price! Definitely the place to stay in Trujillo.

This is a really quaint hotel on the main plaza, which really added to its charm. The security in the hotel is very reassuring as Trujillo had a shaky reputation in the past. Staff were personable, professional and very friendly. We were 'adopted' by a waiter who knew our little family's preferences (including that of the kids), and made it a lovely experience as we were warmly greeted like family when we arrived to eat. Our room overlooked the pool - another room we looked at was quite dark and up a few stairs. The room and bathroom were very clean, with good wifi access. The restaurant food was gourmet, and the free breakfast went above and beyond the 'buns, eggs and coffee' route most other hotels in Peru provided, with fresh omelettes, pancakes, and so on. A few drivers hang around in the lobby and we were able to hire one that the staff knew - and who we therefore felt safe with. This hotel was a treat and a pleasant surprise for us. Free welcome pisco sours! Definitely recommended!
