Nothing special about Puno nor about the hotel. It does its job for a reasonable price and is useful for those en route from Titicaca to Cusco or vcie versa. Room was adequate and slept three. It was at the back of the hotel, so quieter (the road at the front can get busy). There was no outside window in the room, just the bathroom, so the window in the room looked out on the hall. We found that the light curtains on this window plus the strong lights in the hall made the room far too light at night.
The hotel is well situated near the main plaza with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel easily and quickly arranged a taxi to take us the next day to Juliaca airport (about an hour away).
