The hotel is about half an hour in a taxi along the lake's shore from Puno. It is in a small village and has little facilities other than within the hotel.
Even though it was not busy the front desk staff seems slightly sulky and put out that they had customers. This continued when we tried to book some spa activities - they said they would collect us and failed to do so until we turned up at reception to find out what was happening.
The spa and gym is basically a hottub, sauna and an exercise bike plus a single small multigym machine. The entrance was blocked by five or six beds and mattresses stacked against the walls. Despite the hottub being inside there was little privacy and passing staff were continuously peering in.
The food was good at dinner but service was poor for breakfast. I can not really think of any particular reason to reccommend this hotel unless you really want to be away from Puno in a adequate hotel.
