Stayed in this hotel 2 nights. Puno was not my favourite city of the trip, but the hotel was very good. It is very close to the main tourist street which I thought was a great advantage as I didn't feel particularly safe in Puno, at night slight noise could be heard but nothing to disturb your sleep. The rooms are modern and comfortable, the shower was good, no problems with the amount of hot water, but it did take a time to come through. Lift wasn't working when we arrived and the poor bell boy had to carry the rucksacks to the 7th floor, but it had been fixed when we returned from our home stay on Amanti.
Staff were friendly and helpful, we had a good time, thank you.

What a lovely hotel. only 1/2 block from the main tourist street full of restaurants and shops. Less than 2 blocks from a bank and the square.

We had a beautiful, modern room with a view of Lake Titicaca and amazing sunrises and sunsets. The breakfast bar was superb. Coffee and computers in the lobby, and a very helpful staff. Could not have asked for anything better!

We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and cannot complain of anything. The staff spoke good english and was very helpful. The room vas very comfortable and nicely decorated. (We had a room on the 9th floor with a nice view of the lake.) Breakfast was the best we've had in Peru - lots of things to choose from: not only the ususal bread/jam/butter/ham/cheese, but also fresh fruit and veggies, fruit juices, several knds of cereal, yogurt, eggs, even baked potatoe slices with cheese topping... & most bpobably I still left something out...

The good things about this hotel are a) location - 1/2 block from the main pedestrian shopping road b) safe c) clean d) very helpful english speaking front desk staff e) free wifi throughout the hotel f) 3 free computer stations g) free bottled water in the room and h) beautiful large windows and view of Lake Titicaca i) elevator (many other lima hotels did not have) and decent breakfast (fruit, bread, cereal, usually some fried pancakes/sweet potatos or the like and your choice of freshly cooked eggs/omelettes.

The bad things about the hotel are a) mediocre tasting hotel restaurant for dinner (but reasonably priced and beautiful view) b) noisy if room is on lower floors due to pediastrian shopping road and nearby disco c) bit expensive compared to other near by hotels/inns d) only one small elevator so sometimes its a bit of a wait to get on d) nasty view unless pay for the lake side view.. so be sure to request it.. why be in Puno and not take advantage of a chance to watch the sunrise over the Lake ?
