After spending the previous nights in nice, but basic hostels, this place felt like a 5 star hotel. The room was good size, had a fantastic balcony (looked like only 2 rooms with huge balconies, the others were smaller) and looked out over the church and towards the lake.
Perfect location for heading out to eat or to have a walk around. Just 2 blocks to the pedestrian street that's lined with restaurants and some shops.
Thought we'd really need the heater as it was pretty cold at night but I guess being on the top floor we got all the heat from the lower rooms, so we didn't use it.
Bathroom was big and nice, even had a tub. The hot water came and went but had plenty for two showers, we just had to step out when it went cold momentarily.
Staff was very helpful and spoke great English. They opened breakfast up for us 15 minutes early since we had an early flight out. I just ate quickly but it looked like a nice selection of things.
Definitely recommend.

I love this hotel so I am rating it even before I've left using their free wifi that I can get in my room, in addition to the 2 kiosks near the restaurant. The rooms are spacious and clean but what is truly outstanding is the staff. They speak excellent English and go out of their way to help. "No" is not in their vocabulary. When we ran out of toilet paper the woman left her post to find some for us.

The location is perfect and the included breakfast delicious though our first day we got there almost at the end of service and they had run out of everything, they were so apologetic and then brought everything robots table as soon as it was ready.

The hotel, that offers you a central heating, when its so much needed. I didnt have a clue, it was 10 below zero outside in the night. The room was so compfortable, the blankets, everything was great. And after long trip to the islands of Titikaka, i had a hot shower. It was simply great!

You get a lot for your money at Conde de Lemos! There is a lift (believe me, stairs are hard at this altitude), there is heating (and Puno is COLD), and the bathrooms are recently tiled. The breakfast buffet (conveniently starting at 6am for excursions) is also very good. The location behind the cathedral means you´re a few steps away from the busy Calle Lime. The staff is friendly and informative.
