3 of us stayed here sharing a triple room for 3 nights. The hotel is basic enough, but clean and the staff are excellent. Not much English but enough to understand etc. Breakfast is adequate, nothing special. We ate here one night and wouldn´t recommend it...basic and fairly cold when it arrived, but not expensive. Overall I´d recommend this hotel for location and staff if nothing else. Good value.

Reading some reviews I wonder if it was the same hotel! We had asked for a taxi at the bus station and it never arrived. Then the staff actually spoke very little English, and we were put in a dark, dingy feeling triple bedroom , with windows opening on to a very noisy area with traffic fumes wafting up. They may be in financial trouble, as every little thing was charged for, including a piece of dry toast that I had as I had been ill, and i had not had breakfast for 2 days of our stay! Internet access was free,and the man cleaning the rooms was friendly. It is quite central, but only felyt half open. Would not stay here again, even if I was totally well!

We stayed for 2 nights and shared a 4 bed room. Location is very close to the main tourist streets and main square. Place is well run and the staff are very helpful. One of them even came down to the bus station with us to make sure we got the correct bus to Copacabana, after our tour agent had let us down. Breakfasts are good.

After spending the previous nights in nice, but basic hostels, this place felt like a 5 star hotel. The room was good size, had a fantastic balcony (looked like only 2 rooms with huge balconies, the others were smaller) and looked out over the church and towards the lake.
Perfect location for heading out to eat or to have a walk around. Just 2 blocks to the pedestrian street that's lined with restaurants and some shops.
Thought we'd really need the heater as it was pretty cold at night but I guess being on the top floor we got all the heat from the lower rooms, so we didn't use it.
Bathroom was big and nice, even had a tub. The hot water came and went but had plenty for two showers, we just had to step out when it went cold momentarily.
Staff was very helpful and spoke great English. They opened breakfast up for us 15 minutes early since we had an early flight out. I just ate quickly but it looked like a nice selection of things.
Definitely recommend.
