We stayed here last year.And it was such a beautiful hotel. Be the location or the service it was excellent.Actually we were a group of 3 families with young kids , and we travelled from dubai.Since we reached there very early in the morning, the reception staff was kind enough to spare us one room so that we can refresh ourselves and start our sight seeing, and later we checked in our rooms in the evening. (this hospitality cant be found everywhere).
Salalah itself is a beautiful place and adding to the beauty was this resort.It has a private beach and just the views from the rooms was amazing.Kids would really enjoy the stay in this resort...playing in the sand, beach,garden .

A 10 minute drive from salalah airport, the hotel is a fantastic beach resort. The hotel was intimated of our booking at a very short notice and they made arrangement for our pick up in an expedited manner which needs to be appreciated. The Check In was smooth and hassle free. The room was quiet big,spacious and was sea facing. The bed was pretty comfortable. The rooms could have been a bit more insulated from outside noise though. In Room Dining menu had a wide variety of menu choice. The Dolphin Beach Restaurant gives you a refreshingly new experience of dining. Ideal for Romantic getaways and family trips.

Wonderful stay at the CP Salalah. All around a great place with an amazing beach. Pristine, peaceful, and relaxing. Oman is worth the visit.

The food was great, the service was great, and the staff care about what they are doing at the hotel. All around total thumbs up!

The only down sides... the internet connection was slow and the Wifi really only worked well in the main lobby. The "safe" in the room is removable, meaning, you can simply pick it up and walk away. They should secure it with screws or something as it was useless. There are a steady stream of groups visiting the hotel. The city is an easy drive and it is quite safe and the locals are friendly. The market in Salalah is great, but get used to haggling.

Me and wife booked last november a 2 weeks stay at this hotel which also became our first visit in Salalah. This hotel has rooms in several standards, some with a garden terrass other with balcony also without any of these. The room provide a first class interior with good space and comfort, nothing is missing. The common areas inside the hotel is of high class like the buffet restaurant serving breakfast and dinner and the staff is alert. The other restaurant "Dolphin" close to the beach is also nice and offer similar meals like the other inside restaurant but the price for those meals are extremely high - we can not understand why. Many of our friends at the hotel also complain that there is no reduced price for a meal for the youngster and children. Another thing is that the only place nearby you can purchase bottled water (half litre) is at the hotel for a cost of 4,5 USD or 32 SEK. This is stupid as we need to drink a lof of water due the hot climate. The best part of this hotel are the garden with several pools and a gate-way to a wonderful and clean beach just outside the garden. The sun-beds and towels are free to use both in the garden and on the beach. My 65-year day celebration in this hotel is memorable, gifts from my wife, the tour-operator and the hotel management made my day. We like to come back some day.
